Best Practices for cEEG Monitoring
The Cleveland Clinic recommends that the standard monitoring duration be increased to 36 hours of continuous EEG monitoring in critically ill patients. For certain patients, up to 24 hours of continuous monitoring is adequate, while multiple situations actually warrant 48 hours of cEEG monitoring. Read more here.
